.this virus you can catch it by using some specific programs and files that contain macros like doc,pps,xls and mdb. They automatically infect the file with macros and any documents in the file.they are hidden in documents and can be shared by e-mail and different networks.

- 097M/Y2K
2. Memory Resident Viruses
this virus usually ''grows'' in the computer memory.They activate themselves when the OS runs and end up infecting other files that are running that time. they hide in RAM.

- meve
- randex
- mrklunky
3.Overwrite Viruses
this virus deletes any information in the file they infect,leaving them completely useless.They replace all the contents of the file accept for the file size
